Fiber + Artists Meeting

Artists, Knitters, Spinners, Weavers!
...And quilters, needleworkers, surface designers - an informal
group will meet at The Manomet Branch of The Plymouth
Public Library to talk, spin, weave, crochet, knit, sketch, make
what we make. Bring a portable project to work on and/or
share a recent project. (Not limited to fiber arts.)

We are open to people whose interests are in the arts and crafts,
including spinning, knitting, crochet, quilting, tatting, weaving,
sculpture, book arts, surface design, textile manipulation, embroidery,
contemporary and historic - not limited to fibers - any media is fine.
Join us if you'd like to hang out with people who have similar interests
to learn, discuss, have fun and whatever else we come up with!

A number of us have been meeting since July 2011.
If you create in any of these areas or would like to, please
come in to hang out with like minded folks. Open to all, beginners,
advanced and any who have interest. Events and activities will
be scheduled based on group interests - skill shares, swaps,
art/craft shows, etc.

If you aren't able to attend, but are interested, please email
Linda (stoneleafmoon@gmail.com) to say when you can
make it to future meetings. Evenings and weekends can
be scheduled if there is interest.

Free meeting - open to all who have an interest!
We have met a number of times in Fall/Winter 2011
in the Plymouth, MA area.

Meet up to plan and partake of collaborative events, group shows,
listening parties, cross - genre collusions. Skill sharing, trade
knowledge...Let's lively up ourselves!

Artists, makers, craftspeople, textile lovers, contemporary and
historic - any media and outlook is fine. Bring something that's
representative of what you do and/or something to work on.
Come for the whole time or whenever you can make it.

A number of meetings have been held at The Plymouth Public Library.
